Ha! Try photographing a busy space like this when the light is perfect for only one moment, the sun is playing peekaboo with the clouds and a swirl of people are dodging in and out of the photograph!
It took observing in advance the light and its timed trajectory through both the sky and the interior space as it skipped around the surrounding high rise buildings, positioning the camera well before the appointed time, preparing the space as the anticipated moment arrived by straightening tables and chairs, removing trash cans, holding the seating and then—when the sun reached its place in the sky and the light poured through the skylights— shooting multiple takes to be sure to capture the best poses with the best possible light. Success!
